Here is Cheryl, in the same place she's been for over a week! She's gone broody again and this time she's got attitude about it!
Cheryl keeps laying an egg each day, I don't know where Gayle is laying ~ or if she's laying at all. We move Cheryl off her nest everyday and she makes this awful cat howling noise and pecks at us. Since her eggs are unfertilized there's no point in letting her continue this charade. She's been sleeping all night in this same place. Tonight I'm going to put her back in the coop and hope a night back home breaks her broodiness!

ReplyDeleteMy garage chicken lays an egg every great once in a whille. It always surprizes me when I find one out there. The poor thing doesn't even have a nesting box or anything!
My chicken's name is Poof, by the way. I really gotta make her and her little friend a proper coop.
