I love the Summer Solstice! I love waking up when it's light and going to sleep soon after it's dark. I love the light. It makes me feel alive and positive and productive. It's the exact opposite for me in the wintertime. I'll try to hang on to this feeling as long as possible!
The only downside is that now, each day, the hours of light will get shorter.
The worst thing about living in Central Time here is that it gets dark an hour earlier.
ReplyDeleteI love the length of the light in summer too. Too bad it can't last all year, but then we wouldn't appreciate it as much.
